The annual plant sale was held at Wellesbourne village hall with over 50 people in attendance. There were so many plants for sale that the finish was extended to 6.15pm - a long afternoon. However it was worthwhile since over £1800 was taken, well done everybody, with special thanks to all who helped out.
We had several members handing out plants. Here we see committee member Pete handing out plants and giving change.
Peter and his wife came especially to get some Hallmark plants. Peter used to show Poms many years ago but had to give up to spend more time sheep farming. Recently he has had a piece of garden cleared and thought that a few Poms would look really nice. We hope to see a photo later in the year Peter!
