Propagation 2011 - LED grow lights
 Does it actually work?

 

Dahlias
 I have started off my tubers - setting them up on the 14th and 15th January.  Progress so far is shown in the table below.

Pansies
 The US Horticulture paper also stated that pansies are similar to dahlias as far as moles/d is concerned.  This is fortunate since I have been looking at my winter pansy seedlings for some time.  Below are two pictures showing progress so far under the grow lights.

I need more space in the hot bed, now I am rooting cuttings.  So the pansies have to go outside.  Looking much better now.  A couple of days hardening off in the conservatory then into the dahlia beds for a bit of winter colour.Pansies ready for hardening
